You can withdraw your consent for geolocation processing at any time directly from your device permissions, without affecting prior data processing. The service may not function properly after geolocation consent is withdrawn by you.
You can also choose to withdraw your consent to process all your data. Simply write to us at fixyou@goslidesocial.com to request us to delete all your data from our databases.
Personal data we process:
The only information we process is in order to provide you with the best experience on Slide.

Registration Details: Name, mobile number, email address and other basic info needed to sign up.

Profile Information: Name, photos, self-description, basic demographics like age, location, political philosophy, religion, sexuality, interests, etc.

Verification: We conduct a ‘liveliness’ verification via a third-party partner in order to prevent fraudulent activities like catfishing. We authenticate your uploaded photos against a secure photo verification tool provided by Regula. You can review their privacy policy here.

Social Media Content: When you connect social or digital platforms like Instagram, Spotify, Twitter, Youtube, etc., we access information like your name, content posted or content liked/viewed in accordance with explicit permissions provided by you and in compliance with the policies of said platforms.

Payment: Your payment details are maintained for auto-renewal according to our subscription policies or to help resolve other payment issues.

Technical Data: IP address, login info, customer service history, time zone settings, device ID, browser language, and, with permission, your geolocation.
How your personal data is used:
We only share what’s needed to help other users see if you're a potential match according to their filters and vice versa. We only disclose data to third parties if legally required to do so by a statutory authority from the appropriate jurisdiction. We never sell your data to third parties. Your privacy is our priority!

Account Visibility: Your account, including your given name, description, and basic info (like age, gender, location, etc.), will be visible to other users. Users can filter based on this basic info.

Login Info: We store your login info to verify your identity and grant access to your account. Slide currently uses a secure mobile number and ‘OTP’ login system.

Email Address: Used for account notifications, newsletters, and troubleshooting. Does not require SSO permissions and we don’t share it with third parties.

Push Notifications: By registering, you agree to receive notifications on your mobile device via the app, SMS and other chat protocols like Whatsapp, etc., to update you on your membership status, new messages or matches, and account activity. We may also sparingly send you relevant suggestions and promotional material.

Geolocation: We share your general location area to help users nearby discover you. Your exact location is never shared either in writing or via a map.

Date of Birth: Used to calculate and display your age on your profile.

Photos Uploaded: When creating your profile, you will need to upload 3 or more photos. We authenticate your uploaded photos against a secure photo verification tool provided by Regula. You can review their privacy policy here. Photos uploaded in the future are also authenticated before they appear on your profile and are visible to other users. We may use software to detect and notify us of inappropriate content (e.g., derogatory visuals or unlawful use such as obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable) and may delete such content or accounts they are sent from. Affected Users can contact Slide to contest the decision. This applies to all visual content you post on Slide and also content retrieved from third-party social and digital media platforms you have voluntarily connected to Slide.

Social Media Content: When creating your profile, you'll connect 1 or more social and digital platforms you use frequently. With your permission, content from these platforms is displayed on your profile, but your name and handle remain private and can't be used to access your profiles directly outside of Slide’s platform. The content, such as your posts or likes, is refreshed regularly based on your recent actions on said platforms, and we don't process older content for more than one month once replaced with fresh content on the mobile app or website.

Screenshots and Profile Privacy: The app disallows screenshots of user profiles because protecting your identity is a priority. We also do not allow profiles to be circulated within your network of acquaintances or with third parties via a ‘share’ feature.

Chat Messages and Other Written Content: Your chat messages are confidential and only processed for you to access your chat history and for others to view messages sent to them by you. We may use software to detect and notify us of inappropriate content (e.g., derogatory language or unlawful use) and may delete such content or accounts they are sent from. Affected users can contact Slide to contest the decision. This applies to all written content you post on Slide and also content retrieved from third-party social and digital media platforms you have voluntarily connected to Slide.

Your Customer Service History: When you contact our customer service team, we keep a record of your correspondence to improve our service for you.

Non-personal Data: We may collect non-personal data like your browser type, device type, operating system, and internet service provider whenever you use our website or mobile app.

Global Hosting: Your data may be stored on servers in countries outside your residence.

Manage Your Data: You can view, edit, or delete your personal data by logging into your account on the Slide app. If certain data cannot be deleted or edited via the app, please contact us at fixyou@goslidesocial.com from your registered email address.

Backup and Retention: We keep a backup of your data for up to three years after account deletion or as long as required by law, whichever is shorter.

Social media content: Content obtained from social and digital platforms with your explicit permission is deleted within one month of being replaced with fresh content.
